Commercial Construction Lumber Estimator Role Overview:

Huskey Building Supply is a family-owned, culture-driven company built on lean thinking, continuous improvement, and a team of process-minded professionals. We are growing and seeking an on-site Commercial Lumber Estimator to support our expanding commercial portfolio. This role is ideal for an estimator with proven experience in lumber takeoffs who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Position: Commercial Construction Lumber Estimator (Full-Time, On-Site)

$50,000-$75,000 Annually

Commercial Construction Lumber Estimator Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate lumber and EWP takeoffs for commercial projects
• Review architectural and structural plans to develop detailed material lists
• Partner with sales, purchasing, and operations to support profitable bids
• Identify value-engineering opportunities and material efficiencies
• Manage multiple estimates with strong accuracy and attention to detail

Commercial Construction Lumber Estimator Qualifications:

• Experience in lumber estimating, commercial construction, or framing/material takeoffs
• Strong ability to read architectural and structural drawings
• Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, MiTek, or similar)
• Above-entry-level experience preferred; all levels considered
