Job Summary: 

The Business Development Director is responsible for assisting with the company’s growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities and fostering key partnerships. This role involves developing long-term relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry leaders to ensure sustainable growth.?The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of the EM/HM space combined with strong relationship-building and strategic planning skills.  
 
Essential Duties:  

  • Identify new market opportunities and evaluate potential revenue streams.? 
  • Help lead generation efforts to enter new markets, expand service offerings, or introduce new products.? 
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through daily cold calls (minimum of 5 per day/25 week), email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and targeted campaign activities.  
  • Manage the rollout of strategic growth initiatives and ensure accurate tracking, reporting and follow-through within the CRM.  
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to drive revenue.? 
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align growth strategies with market trends and customer needs.? 
  • Assist with proposal development, pitches, and business presentations to potential clients and partners.? 
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.? 
  • Work closely with the BD account management teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.? 
  • Serve as the company’s ambassador at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand recognition.? 
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to assess potential opportunities.? 
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend new business initiatives, product improvements, and market-entry strategies.? 
  • Provide meeting insights to leadership prior to meetings and presentations with hospital executives.  
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.? 
  • Align business development strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches to maximize impact.  
  • Participate in regular meetings with hospital C-suite executives to present performance data and discuss.? 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.?

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to confidently present to hospital executives, physicians, and any other hospital or company stakeholder. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Proficient in CRM platforms. 
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors. 
  • Collaborate with professionals internally and external to the company and across geographic locations.

Requirements

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 
  • MBA preferred.  

Experience: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales or strategic partnerships, healthcare experience preferred.  
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
