The Vice President of Sales and Marketing, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and is responsible for all sales and marketing functions for the company. The VP of Sales and Marketing develops the sales plan to advance the company's mission and objective's. The executive is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strategic account management, focusing on building out NRE and NPD, and maximizing the business impact of potential investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and other transactions with third parties. The VP of Sales and Marketing will work with the leadership team and corporate to characterize new market opportunities, identify and assess target companies, disposition inbound opportunities, conduct due diligence, evaluate potential deal structures and terms, and develop actionable recommendations. The VP of Sales and Marketing will oversee company's sales operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.? 


Responsibilities 

  • Channel Management:?Determines the go-to-market channel strategy and deployment including the sales force, distribution, and contract representatives. Establishes the sales territory for the company. 
  • Marketing Communications:?Determines the marketing communications plan and activities including but not limited to tradeshows, press releases, websites, advertising, etc. 
  • Customer Relationship Management:?Develops and maintains the customer relationship process and executive relationships with customers. 
  • Quoting Process:?Develops and manages the company quote process. 
  • Pricing Management Process:?Develops and manages the company's price strategy and plan. 
  • Product Management:?Manages current product offerings and develops new products. 
  • Planning:?Participate in the development of the strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.? 
  • Market Research:?Manage development and maintenance of complex market models for potential partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunities.? 
  • Project Management and Reporting:?Provides detailed meeting reports to key parties (including key insights, next steps, etc.) and coordinate next steps internally as appropriate for key project and sales goals. 
  • Sales Team Management:?Oversee company sales operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Evaluate performance of sales team for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. ? 
Requirements


  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related field. 
  • Ten or more years?of leadership in?OEM medical device?sales, marketing, or field engineering experience with account management experience and knowledge of the?OEM medical device market.
