Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Department: Facilities & Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Facilities

  

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and capable of working independently while supporting multiple departments as needed.

  

Core Responsibilities


Facility & Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct daily property inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Understanding and ability to support any Audio-Visual needs. 
  • Perform repairs and maintenance related to:
    • Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
    • Carpentry and building structure
    • Kitchen equipment and appliances
    • Refrigeration and ice machines
    • Pool equipment and pumps
    • Laundry equipment
  • Clean and maintain appliances and mechanical spaces.
  • Perform scheduled pool maintenance.

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

  • Blow down exterior areas daily.
  • Pressure washing buildings and service areas as required.
  • Clean loading dock weekly or as needed.

Housekeeping Support

  • Operate washers and dryers to support linen flow.
  • Fold and store clean linens.
  • Assist housekeeping staff as requested or as needed.

Organization & Safety

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Keep shop and service areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure tools and supplies are properly stored and secured.
  • Always wear slip- and oil-resistant footwear and follow all safety standards.

Emergency & Team Support

  • Respond to property emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Assist other departments as directed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Facilities.
  • Implements the requirements of the preventive maintenance program.
  • Tours club property on a daily basis informing his supervisor of any maintenance needs.
  • Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, electrical system, carpentry, kitchen equipment, heating and ventilation and all building structures of the club.
  • Maintains the air conditioning, refrigeration, ice machines and all pool pumps.
  • Keeps accurate maintenance records of all equipment and machinery.
  • Performs ongoing Tennis Court maintenance.
  • Performs tasks on ongoing detail maintenance list as assigned by department head.
  • Insures all tools and maintenance related supplies are accounted for and put away in their proper place at the end of each day.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by department head and assists other department as assigned by department head.
  • Pressure cleans loading dock once a week or as needed.
  • Uses blower to blow down all exterior club areas daily.
  • Pressure cleans exterior of buildings when needed.
  • Operates washer & dryer and assists housekeeping to maintain laundry flow.
  • Folds clean linen and stores on shelves.
  • Maintains maintenance shop and outside lower service area in a neat an orderly manner.
  • Assists housekeeping with their duties when noticed by technician or as requested by housekeeping supervisor or department head
  • Must, at all times, be wearing shoes that are both slip and oil resistant

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Facilities.


Requirements



Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16-$24, based on experience and qualifications

  

Work Schedule

Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday-Saturday with 2 days off. 

Evening Shift: Approximately 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Sunday-Saturday  

(Some flexibility may be required based on operational needs)


  

Required:

  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Physical ability to perform labor, including lifting and working outdoors.
  • Dependable attendance and professional attitude.
  • Willingness to respond to emergencies.

Preferred:

  • Prior facilities or maintenance experience.
  • Trade school training or certifications.
  • Experience in hospitality, clubs, or large properties.
