Position Summary:
Account Manager: Alongside S&T Account Directors, help identify client event needs, build & maintain relationships, and execute account strategy. Provide consistency for the client and sound program knowledge across multiple events within the same account.
The Account Manager is an internal example in leadership, methodology, and navigating internal and external communication. Assist the S&T AD(s) with the overall program experience, mentor, advise, guide junior team members, and build loyalty with clients and work independently toward the success of their events
- Continue the responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager on assigned programs
- Work alongside the S&T ADs to reinforce EEG’s aspirations and amplify the five critical behaviors for success:

- Collaborate with department influencers (Trainer, Process Lead, Supervisor, etc) to support employee growth and career development
Qualified candidates will possess an event-services background in order to oversee all aspects of sponsor management. Ideal candidate will be a marketing and event professional who is experienced in working with exhibitors and related vendors.
This position requires a proactive, outgoing, dynamic and confident individual. Background in sponsorships and tradeshows preferred, but not essential. Most of our tradeshows have between 5 and 200 sponsoring companies.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Align with S&T strategic objectives, resulting in sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and a competitive edge
- Co-lead the client relationship, act as primary liaison for client on program details, responsible for overseeing all communication with client, sponsor/exhibitors and all third party vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate S&T services
- Planning, developing and executing sponsorship program
- Serving as sponsor manager for specific program
- Developing sponsorship packages on behalf of client, if required
- Responsible for fulfillment of all sponsorship needs - if required
- Oversight of invoicing and payment of all sponsorships
- Overseeing sponsor program on-site (travel required)
- Final billing review with client, if required
- May require 50% of travel

Education and Experience: Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Expert knowledge of sponsorship industry
- Minimum 5+ years of Corporate event management or related sponsor/tradeshow management
- Expert level understanding of event management scope and ability to lead the planning process
- Minimum of 3-4 years of direct client management
- Exceptional negotiation and budget management skills
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar applications
Preferred:
- Minimum 5 years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of sponsor management and fulfillment or strong customer service background
