Description
We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our newly established Strategic Operations Department. This role combines process analysis with data-driven insights to improve how our organization operates.
You will work closely with teams across the company to document and optimize workflows, build reports, and analyze operational data. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new department while contributing to meaningful improvements in business operations.
BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Document and visualize workflows across departments, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze business processes and recommend data-informed enhancements to improve efficiency, communication, and performance.
- Coordinate and contribute to process improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation, ensuring cross-department alignment and timely follow-through.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using multiple datasets to support decision-making.
- Assist with merging and maintaining historical and new datasets as the company transitions systems over the next 1–2 years.
- Work with department leaders to understand processes and support operational clarity.

Fully Remote
BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST COMPENSTATION:
$60,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, data, or process-focused discipline – or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in business process analysis, data analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance attention to detail with a big-picture understanding of business objectives.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation (preferred, not required).
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with pulling and working with data from APIs is a plus.
