Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day to day of their assigned floor.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the rooms.
  • Ensure that all rooms are cleaned for arrival.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures, including OSHA and Health Department Guidelines are being followed.
  • Provide guidance and motivation to achieve optimal performance.
  • Responsible for re-training team members on cleanliness concerns.
  • Resolves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction.
  • Completes reports and projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Works closely with other departments such as Front Desk, PBX, Reservations.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Housekeeping, experience in an Inspector/supervisor role at a high-occupancy resort.
  • Knowledge of AAA.
  • Passion for Guest Service, eye for creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficient

Qualifications

  • The Inspector works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis.
  • The position’s work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and knowledge that includes:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Must be able to follow security policies and procedures and report all violations.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Salary: $20 - $26/hr
