Description

Position Summary:   To develop and achieve new business opportunities thru solid planning and execution in flooring. Responsible for pricing and profit. This position requires knowledge and understanding of Product Management, Marketing and administrative duties as well as being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. 


Role Description:

• Work with individual customers and internal sales team to support, guide and drive sales growth.

• Assist in analyzing sales history & market trends for strategic decision to meet the company goal

• Create and manage product SKUs and communication with production, and inventory team.

• Product life cycle management including SKU creation and maintenance

• Set annual/monthly sales target and manage progress

• Generate Monthly closing report for sales per SKU, sales channel, size, design, and origin.

• Develop and Execute slow/dead inventory sales plan for Flooring & Accessories.

• Production, Shipping and Delivery Management for Customer Orders.

• Manage customer claims resulting from quality issues and Develop compensation plan.

• Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders

• Monitor project pricing based on segment, competitive information, color, volume, and customers; while evaluating projects to ensure operating profit

• Analyze product type/color/design on flooring product and Propose product development

• Gain thorough understanding of market dynamics and activities within our industries and among key competitors.

• Establish management relations with key customers throughout the value chain to gain preferred share position.

• Market Intelligence insight for product development and industry trend implementation

• Work with others in a team environment

• Interface with your local branch, ATL Corporate Office, and Headquarter in South Korea (both Head office and Plant) as required.

• Handle administrative tasks related to the management and operation of your individual boundaries.

• Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Achieve annual sales goals according to agreed-upon budgets.

• Report monthly ongoing product development and project status.

• Analyze monthly sales on product type and design.

• Responsible for pricing and profit.

• Gain market share and “share of mind” among customers.

• Collect and report competitive intelligence within our industry and among our key product competitors.

• Build key customer relationships and trust among top customers.


Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.

• 5+ years’ proven track record in business sales or related market.

• Successful previous experience as a product manager or project manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

• Strong business sense and industry expertise.

• Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.


Travel and Physical Demands:

• Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.

• Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.

• Position requires minimal lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Position requires regular and reliable attendance

• Position requires minimum 25% overnight travel
