Mercedes-Benz of Marin, part of Swickard Automotive Group, is hiring experienced Flat Rate Service Technicians to join our high-performing team. We run disciplined shops where techs have the tools, information, and support they need to produce — without chaos, bottlenecks, or surprises.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Mercedes-Benz vehicles to OEM specifications
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs with precision and documentation discipline
- Communicate clearly with advisors and shop leadership to keep work flowing
- Protect guest safety and trust through quality control and comeback prevention
- Maintain a clean, organized bay consistent with Mercedes-Benz standards
- Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and diagnose issues.
- Research technical information and consult with colleagues or service manuals to solve complex problems.
- Recommend preventative maintenance services to customers.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the service department.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Experience: 2+ years of dealership technician experience (Mercedes-Benz or European luxury preferred)
- Certifications: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus.
- Commitment to quality, integrity, and guest care
- Steady communication with advisors, dispatch, and shop foreman
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills; ability to follow OEM procedures
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
