Position Summary
The Recruiting Manager will lead and scale the company’s talent acquisition function to support a high-performance, growth-focused organization. This is a hands-on, working manager role, responsible for both leading the recruiting team and carrying a full requisition load across corporate, claims, clinical, and leadership roles. The Recruiting Manager will design recruiting strategies, optimize processes, and ensure the company consistently attracts top talent. This role reports directly to the Chief People Officer and plays a critical role in delivering predictable hiring outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develops and executes a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with business growth, operational goals, and private-equity value creation plans.
- Partners with executive and departmental leaders to forecast workforce needs and build proactive pipelines for high-volume and specialized roles.
- Manages and monitors the recruiting budget to ensure efficiency and ROI across sourcing channels.
Hands-On Recruiting (Working Manager Role)
- Manages a full requisition load and drives end-to-end recruitment for key roles across the organization.
- Acts as the senior recruiter for complex, confidential, or leadership-level searches.
- Models best practices in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Sets the standard for speed, quality, compliance, and candidate experience.
Process & Technology Optimization
- Continuously improves recruiting workflows to maximize speed, quality, and compliance.
- Applies analytics, KPIs, and hiring dashboards to drive decision-making and enhance funnel performance.
- Optimizes the company’s applicant tracking system (ATS) and sourcing tools to ensure a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Creates and maintains standardized recruiting processes across all business units.
Team Leadership
- Leads, develops, and coaches the recruiting team to meet performance goals.
- Establishes clear expectations, roles, and responsibilities for team members and hiring managers.
- Provides regular performance feedback, training, and development opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Builds strong relationships with operational leaders to ensure recruiting strategies align with business objectives.
- Develops external partnerships with educational institutions, workforce programs, and recruitment agencies to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
- Owns creation and communication of hiring dashboards and progress updates.
Employer Brand & Talent Marketing
- Collaborates with Marketing and Communications to strengthen the company’s employer brand and market career opportunities effectively.
- Represents the company at industry events, job fairs, and conferences to attract specialized talent.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Implements diversity-focused sourcing strategies and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Ensures equitable and bias-free hiring processes throughout the candidate lifecycle.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Ensures full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry-specific requirements.
- Maintains audit-ready documentation and follows best practices for a compliance-driven TPA environment.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Prior Experience
Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or people management role.
Experience in insurance, TPA, healthcare, or other highly regulated, compliance-driven industries strongly preferred.
Proven working knowledge of sourcing strategies, ATS systems, metrics-driven recruiting, diversity initiatives, and hiring dashboards.
