Service Coordinator
Description

General Scope: 


The Service Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating frac and flowback service operations. This role supports field supervisors, technicians, and customers by managing job schedules, equipment, parts, and logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of all service work.


Requirements

Key Expectations:

Scheduling & Dispatch

  • Schedule and dispatch trucking for frac, flowback, drill out, and well-testing operations.
  • Track job progress and adjust scheduling as conditions or customer needs change.

Customer Communication

  • Communicate job requirements, timelines, and resource needs clearly and professionally.
  • Manage after-hours or emergency call-outs when necessary.

Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with management to ensure crews have the correct tools, parts, and equipment for each job.
  • Coordinate equipment staging, hotshot deliveries, trucking, and rentals.
  • Assist with pre-job planning, job packets, and safety documentation.

Parts & Inventory Management

  • Maintain an accurate list of frac valves, flowback iron, manifolds, BOP components, and related parts.
  • Order, track, and allocate parts for active and upcoming jobs.
  • Communicate shortages or lead times and maintain stock levels to support operations.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain service tickets, work orders, job folders, and daily job logs.
  • Record equipment hours, asset movements, and crew times.
  • Assist the billing team by verifying job data, parts usage, and service hours.

Logistics & Trucking Coordination

  • Schedule oilfield trucking for equipment pickups, deliveries, and rig-ups/rig-downs.
  • Ensure proper load-out documentation, equipment lists, and pickup times.
  • Track equipment in the field and coordinate returns after job completion.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in frac, flowback, drillout, or related oilfield services.
  • Strong knowledge of frac valves, flowback equipment, BOP parts, manifolds, and wellsite components.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • Understanding of oilfield safety practices and terminology.
  • Strong mechanical understanding of wellsite pressure control equipment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Understand the general operation of all office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, and calculator/10-key.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software programs to meet the needs of the position is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where responsibilities frequently change.
  • Previous experience dispatching equipment.

Work Environment:


  • Office-based with frequent phone and computer work.
  • May require occasional after-hours support depending on job schedules.
  • Regular interaction with management, field crews, supervisors, and customer representatives.
  • Must comply with all safety standards and wear required PPE in field operations.
