We are hiring for a Director of Sales, Convenience and Vend Channel.


 Position Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales to lead our Convenience and Vend Channel businesses. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy, focusing on establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with major national and regional retailers, wholesale distributors, and brokers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in retail sales management, category management, broker management, and P&L management. 

 

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Leadership

· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and growth development strategy for our Convenience and Vend Channel Retailers, Distributors, and Broker Partners. 

· Lead with clear objectives, revenue targets, and performance metrics that align with company goals and visions.


Business Development & Growth

· Drive new business acquisition while expanding market share with existing partners.

· Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the fast moving Convenience and Vend channels to accelerate Monarca brand penetration and category leadership.

· Deliver regular sales reports, performance analytics, and strategic insights to leadership.

· Recommend adjustments to strategy based on market feedback and evolving customer needs.


Relationship Management

· Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key customers, to include national and regional Retailers and Wholesale Distributors. 

· Build and nurture executive-level relationships with our broker partners. Lead and manage our broker partners with expectations for accountability and alignment with Monarca sales and growth development strategies.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to our customers by delivering insights, innovation, and tailored solutions, and sales growth strategies that meet their evolving needs.


Adaptive Work Environment

· Ability to work remote from Home Office or Company office based on residing city

· Ability to travel as required for Internal and External Meetings, Trade Shows, Etc.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience within food manufacturing, snacks, or CPG industry.
  • Proven success in managing  and leading strategy for large national and regional retailers and wholesale distributor in the Convenience and Vend Channels
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams in Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure successful execution of innovation, promotions, and customer initiatives. 
  • Broker management experience, with a track record of motivating teams to deliver measurable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute commercial strategies that drive profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of turning data into actionable strategy.
  • Proven leadership in managing P&L and driving business growth.
  • Strategic problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and lead with integrity.
  • Deep understanding of category and brand management.
  • Efficient in all Microsoft applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field - MBA is a plus
