As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will partner closely with application engineers, data teams, and client stakeholders to modernize infrastructure, enable cloud-native delivery, and accelerate value through automation and best practices. This role blends deep technical expertise with a strong consulting mindset—helping clients move faster, smarter, and with confidence in the cloud. Here's how you'll do it:

Prioritize Client Success

  • Design and implement Azure-based cloud architectures aligned to client business goals.
  • Partner with delivery teams to enable reliable, performant, and secure application deployments.
  • Support cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives.

Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

  • Navigate evolving Azure services, patterns, and tooling.
  • Make sound architectural decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
  • Advocate for modern, cloud-native approaches that improve speed to value.

Peel Back the Onion

  • Assess existing infrastructure and uncover root causes of performance, reliability, or security challenges.
  • Design solutions across networking, identity, compute, storage, and data layers.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to simplify and optimize cloud environments.

Build to Last

  • Architect and implement scalable, maintainable Azure solutions using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Embed security, governance, and cost management best practices from day one.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Mentor and guide engineers to elevate cloud capabilities across teams.

Embrace Being Small & Mighty

  • Move quickly, experiment, and iterate.
  • Roll up your sleeves to troubleshoot issues and improve systems hands-on.
  • Balance pragmatism with long-term architectural thinking.

Help Others Be Great

  • Collaborate across engineering, data, and consulting teams.
  • Translate cloud architecture decisions into clear guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to internal standards and accelerators.

Requirements
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Landing Zones, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, Networking, Entra ID).
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and automation.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management, network security, compliance, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and cloud-native compute patterns.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.
