RPG Programmer
Description

We’re looking for a Programmer/Developer to develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM-i platform, helping extend CUBASE Core functionality to external systems. This role works with modern RPG, SQL, and current IBM-i development tools while also supporting and updating legacy code.


What You’ll Do

· Develop and maintain applications using modern RPG and SQL.

· Work with internal teams and partners to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Refactor and support legacy RPG, CLLE, and DDS programs.

· Use tools such as VS Code, RDi, ACS, and 5250 emulators.

· Follow programming standards and complete assigned tasks on schedule.

· Stay current with IBM i OS updates, tools, and development practices.


What You Bring

· Bachelor’s degree in IT/business or 2+ years of programming experience.

· 1+ year of RPG programming experience on IBM i.

· Knowledge of free-form RPG, embedded SQL, and ILE concepts.

· Experience with SQL queries, DDL, JSON, and REST APIs.

· Familiarity with Git, DevOps concepts, unit testing, and TDD.

· Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential data.

· Credit union industry knowledge is a plus.
