Summary.

Eastern Shawnee Companies is looking for a Senior GIS Analyst to support our client, Bureau of Indian Affairs in Denver, Colorado. This position is on-site with the potential to go remote with the primary location of performance at the BIA office of Trust Services (OTS), Division of Resource Integration Services (DRIS); Bureau of Indian Affairs, 13922 Denver W Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80401. This opportunity is contingent upon award.


Responsibilities.

  • Serve      as project lead and primary liaison between contractor management and the      federal COR, coordinating task execution and team workflows.
  • Use      cartographic and spatial analysis methods to design maps and applications      tailored to stakeholder missions.
  • Develop      geospatial dashboards and applications to support leadership, the Division      Chief, and OTS mission needs.
  • Help      maintain Internal and External Portals and the Open Data page, ensuring      proper procedures and user-friendly organization.
  • Create      scripts as needed to support geospatial workflows, including parcel fabric      processing and workflow design.
  • Produce      FGDC-compliant metadata for all newly developed digital spatial datasets.
  • Develop      templates and document SOPs for mapping, applications, and data workflows      to promote consistency and knowledge transfer.
Requirements

  

Qualifications.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen and Active U.S.      Passport.
  • 8 years of experience with a      Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or      related field; or 5 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 3 years      of experience with a PhD.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead      a multi-disciplinary geospatial team and coordinate with federal      leadership.
  • Experience developing Esri      dashboards, web apps, and publishing workflows within enterprise      environments.
  • Experience creating and      maintaining parcel fabric workflows.
  • Strong metadata management      experience consistent with FGDC and DOI standards.
  • Experience developing SOPs,      documentation packages, or technical guidance for enterprise data and      applications.
  • No DWI’s in the past 10      years and no record of crimes against children

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GISP, Esri Enterprise, AWS      or Azure certifications
  • Experience administering      ArcGIS Enterprise Portals and Open Data sites, particularly for federal      programs.

Compensation. The salary range for this position is between $90-115k. The actual salary offered depends on factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, years of relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, business need, and market demand.
