Electrical Project Manager II

Position Summary

Bleuwave is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and financial performance of commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from contract award through closeout while coordinating closely with superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Partner closely with Electrical Superintendents to plan manpower, sequencing, and jobsite execution.
  • Review contracts, plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure full alignment.
  • Track project costs, labor productivity, material usage, and change orders.
  • Prepare and manage change order pricing, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
  • Lead project meetings with owners, general contractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow, billing schedules, and timely collection of receivables.
  • Support punch list completion, inspections, and final project turnover.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, NEC requirements, and project controls.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate between field and office teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • State electrical license or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in multi-trade MEP or general contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with construction management, estimating, or accounting software.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to visit active construction job sites as needed.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments.
