ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
U.S. Hunger was established in 2010 as a response to the earthquakes that hit Haiti, providing immediate emergency food assistance. What began as a grassroots effort has evolved into a national nonprofit organization committed to addressing food insecurity and its underlying causes through scalable, data-driven, and community-based programs. Guided by our mission to feed families today and unite them to a healthier tomorrow, we have mobilized more than one million volunteers and distributed over 192 million meals across 53 countries, including every U.S. state and Puerto Rico.
