Position Overview:
Our team is growing! We are looking for a Partnership Strategy & Insights Analyst to support the Partnership Marketing team in the data capture and analysis used to support our sponsorship intelligence and commercialization efforts. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of client deliverables by visualizing data that demonstrates partnership value. You will integrate information from various sources, identifying key themes and working with the partnerships team to deliver the key insights that support revenue retention and generation. You will monitor and evaluate partnership asset delivery and campaign performances throughout the season, identifying optimization opportunities, and disseminating strategic information to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Aggregate and analyze data – including asset performance, fan surveys, media exposure, customer insights, and brand indexing – to support partner recaps and proposals.
- Catalog, visualize, and maintain a centralized insights library for easy access to key asset performance metrics, brand health, consumer insights, custom research, and partnership ROI tracking.
- Collaborate with Sales and Activation teams to integrate insights into partner and prospect onboarding, aligning data with client KPIs and partnership storytelling.
- Collaborate with Business Strategy & Analytics team to deploy supplemental surveys throughout the year to generate deeper audience understanding and support strategic partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital Optimization, and Social Content teams to analyze sponsorship competitive data to identify trends and opportunities for partners.
- Maintain and regularly update all partnership measurement reference guides and fulfill ad hoc data requests.
- Conduct research for activation strategy and other similar strategy projects by using internal, public and syndicated sources.
- Manage select vendor relationships as day-to-day product liaison and expert.
- Uphold Chicago Bulls and Bulls Corporate Partners’ brand strategy, vision, standards, and guidelines.
- Interact with corporate partners and key business stakeholders.
- Support Corporate Partnerships team with as needed responsibilities, which could include game day hospitality experiences and assisting with corporate events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or relevant work experience.
- 1 year of full-time work experience is required and 2 years of full-time experience is preferred.
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex information, challenge assumptions, and develop thoughtful, data-informed solutions.
- Ability to interpret and visualize datasets in easily understood charts and graphs.
- Capability to run multiple project timelines simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate optimally with all levels of the organization.
- Consultative mentality and team-first attitude.
- Quality driven approach with strong attention to detail and organization.
- A passion for sports business, specifically corporate partnerships preferred.
- Self-directed, can make progress with limited information or direction, takes initiative to seek support when needed, and can be agile and flexible based on feedback.
Skills:
- Google Sheets/Forms proficiency.
- Experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau/PowerBI).
- Experience with Nielsen, Blinkfire, Zoomph, or other broadcast/social measurement tools.
- Experience with sponsorship analytics processes and methodologies, including but not limited to sponsorship valuation, return on objectives (ROO) modeling, and other sponsorship or media evaluation models.
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is $55K – $60K annually plus a structured bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Full-time remote work is not an option for this role and interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area.
