Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Have or develop a knowledge of the service electrical field to be able to educate the customer and help them made an informed decision.
  • You will be expected to provide proposals or bids for electrical work at the time of the visit.
  • You will be expected to follow up several times over the next few days if the customer does not purchase on the first visit.
  • Collect 50% of the work payment after each appointment.
  • You will be an ambassador for the company, and you must present yourself in a clean professional manner at all times.
  • You must follow our Service Guidelines for parking and entering a home.
  • You must be wearing AYW logo clothing, a name badge and have business cards.
  • Your vehicle must be kept clean.
  • Your proposals and contracts must have clear definitions of the type of work we will be performing as well as exclusions, prices and options.
  • Get all work approved by signature, or confirmation email prior to work starting.
  • Communicate with the office staff estimated hours for completion of the project.
  • Provide the field staff with insight, direction and/or walk through work when needed.
  • Provide all information needed when a General Contractor is involved by filling out our contractor form.
  • Understand and follow the safety program.
  • Attend different sales training opportunities offered by the company or you decide to sign up for.

Sales Targets:

  • Ambitiously pursue and surpass a personal sales goal with earnings potential of $150,000 - $300,000.
  • Execute 2-3 high quality sales calls per day, maintaining top tier productivity and effectiveness.


Technical Proficiency:

  • Conduct precise load calculations and proficiently use Service Titan to enhance efficiency and sales outcomes.

Documentation:

  • Ensure thorough communication of sales details to installation teams, fostering excellence in execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities to maintain high standards of accountability and performance
Requirements
  • Have at least 5 years of proven in-home sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the electrical field is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
