Insurance Training and Knowledge Lead - THREE
Fully Remote THREE Operations
Job Type
Full-time
Description

THREE Insurance simplifies commercial insurance for small businesses through a single, comprehensive policy that protects what matters most — property, liability, auto, and more — all in one straightforward package.

As we scale, consistency and clarity are critical. To deliver an excellent customer and agent experience, our teams must operate from the same standards — applying the same understanding of eligibility, coverage, process and compliance across the organization.

The Insurance Training and Knowledge Lead helps make that possible.

Summary

The Insurance Training and Knowledge Lead builds and sustains the framework that ensures teams consistently apply THREE’s underwriting, sales, and servicing standards.

Reporting to the Director of Product and Operations, this person will work cross-functionally with Sales, Service, Underwriting, Compliance, and Operations to standardize knowledge, institutionalize expertise, and drive quality performance through structured training, clear documentation, and continuous improvement.

They serve as THREE’s central source of subject-matter truth — ensuring there are no conflicting answers about eligibility, coverage, process, or compliance. When questions arise, this person either knows the answer or can point to the single, authoritative source.

Note: This person does not define the business processes themselves. Those are established by departmental or product resources. The Specialist’s role is to translate and operationalize those defined processes into training, documentation, and QA practices that ensure they are understood and followed consistently.

The ideal candidate combines insurance expertise, training experience, process orientation, and technological proficiency with a passion for accuracy, learning, and performance excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Training & Enablement

  • Design and implement training programs that reinforce QA findings, procedural standards, and compliance expectations.
  • Create self-paced or AI-assisted training modules to make learning scalable and repeatable.
  • Deliver live or virtual sessions where interaction and reinforcement are needed.

Subject Matter Authority

  • Maintain and update documentation within Wiki to ensure information is current, consistent, and accessible.
  • Resolve discrepancies across departmental documents and ensure alignment with approved procedures.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align QA and training initiatives with company goals.
  • Use QA and training insights to recommend process improvements (while leaving formal process design to departmental owners).
  • Support change management and internal communications when new processes, systems, or standards are introduced.

What Success Looks Like

  • Establish a unified QA and training framework across Sales, Service, and Underwriting.
  • Eliminate conflicting sources of truth by centralizing product and process knowledge.
  • Deliver targeted training and QA initiatives that measurably reduce errors and improve consistency.
  • Launch at least one AI- or system-led learning module to reduce manual training burden.
