SUMMARY:
MCAD is seeking a Development Operations Associate. This position is responsible for supporting the Office of Development in reaching fundraising goals by overseeing and implementing project plans for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding the college’s various constituencies, and overseeing the daily management of the constituent database. The Development Operations Associate must be sensitive to college needs, employee and student goodwill, and overall brand equity of MCAD as an employer and educational institution.
DETAILS: This is a full time, non-exempt position expected to work 35 hours a week. This position reports to the Director of Development and is paid $24.50-25.25 hourly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and oversee project plans for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of the College’s various constituencies.
- Administer system access, improvement projects, and training on the Raiser’s Edge database.
- Maintain a comprehensive process for data management.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database infrastructure and security.
- Ensure the accurate acceptance, record-keeping and acknowledgement of gifts and pledges.
- Generate accurate gift reports.
- Oversee and manage donor lists for the yearly Donor Wall and Annual Report.
- Create monthly reports, reconcile gifts, and provide audit documents to the Business Office.
- Qualify major gift prospects by researching and analyzing individuals and corporate entities for giving potentials.
- Prepare detailed and up-to-date research briefings on prospects and/or groups of prospects for stakeholders.
- Assist with written communications.
- Maintain MCAD’s donation website pages by keeping online information current and relevant and processing online gifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two (2) years of experience using Raiser’s Edge, or an equivalent database management software, required.
- Two (2) years of development operations experience, strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and privacy, and an adherence to high ethical standards, required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written formats, required.
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and meet a variety of demands, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and professionalism, with strong attention to detail, preferred.
ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment. This position requires the ability and willingness to closely partner with team members and colleagues in other departments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
