Join our growing team at the Beacon Hill Club! We are a family-oriented club and are looking for candidates with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This is a regular, part-time position from Wednesday-Friday, 2 pm-6 pm. During peak season, hours will vary; weekends and some holidays are required. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and servicing in the Main Clubhouse and Carriage House buildings. The Housekeeper must be detail-oriented and thorough and can remain discreet with respect to the space of employees, members, and guests.


Job Tasks and Duties

· Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout the buildings

· Ability to move furniture such as couch or chairs up to 35lbs to clean the area

· Wipes and dusts surfaces in the rooms and cleans mirrors

· Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and window blinds/ drapes

· Restocks hand towels, soap, tissues, and toilet paper in bathrooms

· Picks up and empties trash containers

· Notifies supervisor when something is not working properly

· Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor


Requirements

· Responsible, reliable, and a team player

· Detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to remain discreet and respect the space of others

· Ability to speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work


Education and Experience

· At least 2 years’ experience preferred, but not required


Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Walking and standing for extended periods of time

· Must be able to climb stairs, reach, bend, kneel, and stoop

· Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 25lbs
