The Impact You Will Make

  • Manage and respond to benefits-related tickets submitted through the Jira ticketing platform, covering topics including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, COBRA, life events, and leave-related benefits, for both active and inactive employees, while consistently meeting established service level agreement (SLA) standards.
  • Administers health, welfare, and 401(k) plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Ensures accurate record-keeping and proper payroll deductions by processing required documentation and reconciling provider statements.
  • Assists with 401(k) compliance tasks, including annual census reporting, audits, and Form 5500 filing.
  • Processes disability and Paid Family Leave claims.
  • Supports policy development and implementation efforts.
  • Responds to agency requests for reporting, benefit verifications, and related documentation.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Communicates benefit eligibility and enrollment instructions to new hires and newly eligible employees.
  • Conducts periodic audits of HR files to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Coordinates Open Enrollment, Wellness Calendar, and monthly benefits newsletter in collaboration with the Total Rewards Director and external vendors.
  • Assists in vendor management responsibilities such as invoice reconciliation. 
Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other relevant field preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting HR functions with a working knowledge of employee benefits, enrollment processes, and related compliance practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems like Paylocity, ADP, Workday, or other.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

The pay range for this role is based on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic. They include skill set, experience and training, licensure and certification, and other business and organizational needs. This range estimate has been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. 

Salary Description
$55,000 - $60,000 per year
