Location: Lawrence, PA 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Procurement Team to gain an understanding of our procurement-related process, systems, and procedures.   
  • Complete meaningful administrative, strategic, and project-based work in assigned procurement area, independently and as part of a team. 
  • Supports the Procurement team and their functions and initiatives through assisting with varying projects including (but not limited to): 
  • Assist with creating and tracking purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Help source and compare vendor quotes for materials, supplies, and services
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation for audits and reporting
  • Support compliance tracking
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify purchasing needs
  • Support taxonomy entry and standardization of part descriptions in ERP system
  • Assist with other ad hoc procurement or administrative tasks as needed
Requirements

 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently enrolled as a senior in a bachelor’s degree program in Procurement, Business Management, financial or a closely related field. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. 
  • Must be a team player and able to work closely with all employees. 
  • Should be moderately computer-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms and systems.
