Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and take pride in creating a clean and inviting first impression? We’re looking for a Lobby Attendant to join our housekeeping team and help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall atmosphere of our lobby and public areas. This role is essential to ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.


• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, front entrance, restrooms, and surrounding public areas at all times.

• Regularly dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows, glass, furniture, and decorative fixtures.

• Monitor lobby restrooms to ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies throughout the shift.

• Remove trash and debris promptly from public and exterior entrance areas.

• Assist guests with basic requests, directions, and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

• Communicate guest needs, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to housekeeping leadership or engineering promptly.

• Set up, clean, and maintain public seating areas, business centers, and meeting space foyers as needed.

• Follow all StepStone Hospitality and hotel safety, sanitation, and service standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold a professional appearance at all times.

• Work collaboratively with the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams to support a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

  

• Knowledge of the English language sufficient to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and vendors

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to accurately report information and follow policies and procedures

• Professional demeanor, appearance, and positive attitude

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 20 pounds

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and reaching

• High school education preferred; relevant training and experience required

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, or public area cleaning experience preferred

• Additional language ability preferred

• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local safety and health regulations
