Description
Alamo Auto Supply is hiring an IT Support Specialist who will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues, experience in service delivery, and End-user hardware and software Configuration troubleshooting providing quality services to the end users.

Primary Roles:
- Technical Support: Assisting users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
- Maintenance: Regularly performing system updates and routine maintenance to ensure that devices run efficiently. This includes tasks like updating software, replacing parts, and cleaning out dust from desktops and servers.
- Installation: Setting up and configuring new systems, software, and hardware components. This could mean installing new workstations for employees, setting up servers, or configuring new software applications for business use.
- Documentation: Keeping records related to maintenance, updates, installations, and other IT interventions. Proper documentation is essential for diagnosing past issues and for ensuring compliance with organizational or regulatory standards.
- Training: Providing guidance and training to staff on new software or hardware systems, best practices, and potential IT solutions to business problems.
- Resource Management: Keeping track of IT inventory and ensuring that resources are used optimally, and that there's no wastage.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with other departments or teams to ensure that the IT needs of an organization are met.
- Experience Supporting Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, VPN, local and Network printing, Notebooks, and mobile devices.
- Experience with various desktop systems, operating systems, and diverse technical environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies including Windows and Office.
- Ability to learn and retain new skills and concepts quickly.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field with at least two years of direct IT experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Certifications (i.e., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals).
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent certification.
Salary Description
20.62-22.54/hour
