The Park Services Supervisor supports the Operations Supervisor in overseeing both the daily in-park cleanliness and guest-facing service standards, as well as the early-morning Park Services Prep team responsible for pre-opening janitorial operations at Morgan’s Wonderland and Morgan’s Inspiration Island. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring all park areas meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation expectations, while providing ongoing coaching and support to Park Services team members. The Park Services Supervisor helps maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members by monitoring performance, reinforcing standards, and resolving operational concerns throughout the day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the Full-Time Operations Supervisor in managing the daily operations.
- Supervise daily operations of both in-park Park Services and Park Services Prep teams to ensure all cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards are consistently met.
- Oversee proper labeling, dilution, handling, and use of all cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of restrooms, pathways, seating areas, event spaces, and general park environments to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
- Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, assisting other departments as needed.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials, and inform management when items need to be reordered to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with park leadership, maintenance, and risk management to identify and resolve operational or safety concerns.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on tasks without close supervision.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a clean, welcoming guest environment.
- Effective communication abilities and comfort giving direction, coaching, and feedback to staff.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team and support operations both before opening and during park hours.
- Must have weekend and occasional holiday availability.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Morgan’s Wonderland and willingness to model those values in daily operations.
