Responsibilities


Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead all phases of RCM implementation projects—from kickoff through go-live and stabilization
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, and communication cadence
  • Ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within defined scope
  • Identify risks early, lead issue resolution, and escalate when necessary

Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary implementation contact for clients, building trust and maintaining transparent communication
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to understand client workflows, systems, and operational needs
  • Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams
  • Provide clear expectations on process changes, data requirements, and responsibilities throughout the onboarding cycle

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with internal teams, including Operations, IT/Engineering, Product, Billing, Coding, Analytics, and Client Success, to ensure readiness for go-live
  • Coordinate system setup, data migrations, EHR/PM integrations, and workflow configuration
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to the ongoing Client Success Manager and Operations team post-go-live

Process & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Develop and refine implementation checklists, SOPs, templates, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, payer, and organizational standards

Performance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor project KPIs, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement across workflows
  • Validate data accuracy during migration, mapping, and testing phases
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues related to RCM workflows
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or related implementation roles
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, charge capture, payment posting, AR management, and denial workflows
  • Experience working with EHR/PM systems (e.g., HST, Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or similar)
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
