JOB SUMMARY
ADG Atlanta is a leading provider of multi-family and commercial installation services, specializing in flooring, cabinets, countertops, hardware, and related categories across the Southeast United States. Our Atlanta West division is poised for expansion, targeting 6% YoY growth (stretch 10%) through strategic GC partnerships and optimized bid management. The Strategic Account Advisor plays a pivotal role in expanding our unified commercial and multi-family portfolio by cultivating GC relationships, managing the full bid lifecycle, and ensuring consistent follow-through to secure contracts. This high-impact, execution-focused role requires deep knowledge of multi-family/commercial projects and the SE US market. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented, and thrives in a "hunter" environment—focusing on heavy follow-up, scope reviews, and negotiations rather than passive networking. Based in Atlanta, GA, this position involves light regional travel and reports to the SVP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Client Outreach and Relationship Building: Proactively call on and develop relationships with General Contractors across the SE US, identifying new opportunities in multi-family and commercial projects. Represent ADG Atlanta's full suite of installation services, including flooring, cabinets, countertops, hardware, and other categories.
- Bid Management and Follow-Up: Oversee bids from inception to closure. Review Invitations to Bid (ITBs) against criteria to vet opportunities, prioritize leads, and allocate resources efficiently. Track and manage all ITBs in Monday.com for streamlined workflow and reporting. Follow up on every submitted bid until a definitive yes or no is received, maintaining persistent communication to maximize close rates.
- Negotiation and Contract Closure: Lead negotiations during the buyout phase, leveraging product knowledge and market insights to secure favorable terms. Assist in scope reviews, demonstrating technical expertise in product categories to address GC questions and concerns effectively.
- Pre-Qualification and Account Management: Oversee the pre-qualification process for new clients and new account setup. Ensure compliance with internal standards to mitigate risks and support seamless onboarding.
- Growth and Performance Accountability: Drive toward 6% YoY growth (stretch 10%) through targeted strategies, including expanding GC partnerships and optimizing bid win rates. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bid volume, follow-up timeliness, and conversion rates, adjusting tactics as needed to meet divisional goals.
- Collaboration and Travel: Work closely with estimating and operations teams to align on project scopes and resources. Engage in light regional travel (e.g., site visits, GC meetings, or industry events) to build in-person relationships and stay attuned to market trends.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on SE US multi-family/commercial trends, competitive pricing, and regulatory changes to inform bidding strategies and enhance ADG Atlanta's positioning.
