Job Summary:

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing full cycle recruiting efforts across multiple regions and job families within VRC. This role focuses on high-volume hiring in a fast-paced, multi-site environment — driving sourcing, selection, and hiring processes to achieve aggressive staffing goals. The Senior Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs, optimize processes, and deliver strong candidate pipelines that support growth, operational performance, and organizational scalability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned):

  • Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting across VRC locations nationwide.
  • Develop sourcing pipelines and recruiting strategies to fill positions quickly and cost-effectively.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviewing, and evaluation to support strong hiring decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs, align on candidate profiles, and maintain strong requisition momentum.
  • Track recruiting progress and maintain disciplined workflow within the ATS.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of passive and active candidates to meet ongoing hiring needs.
  • Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Support offer development, negotiation, and onboarding transition.
  • Maintain compliance with company hiring standards and employment laws.
  • Communicate frequently with internal partners regarding status updates, trends, and challenges.
Requirements

Principle Accountabilities:

  • High-Volume Recruiting & Time to Fill: Ensure open positions are sourced, screened, and filled rapidly with qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Quality & Retention: Identify and select talent aligned to job requirements, culture, and long-term success.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Work closely with managers to anticipate needs, improve alignment, and create a frictionless hiring process.
  • Pipeline Development: Establish proactive sourcing strategies to fuel ongoing hiring needs and reduce vacancies.
  • Process Discipline: Maintain ATS accuracy, reporting integrity, and recruiting workflow standards.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver timely communication, professional interaction, and a seamless process reflective of VRC values.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success recruiting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing large requisition loads and competing priorities.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and comfortable with change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Local to Memphis preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience required.
  • Multi-site experience preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or company events.
  • Regular interaction with internal partners across the U.S.
  • Fast-paced workflow requiring urgency, flexibility, and professionalism.
