Position Overview:  

As a Clinical Solutions Consultant at TrueScripts, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, brokers, and partners, leveraging your pharmacy expertise to deliver strategic guidance and actionable insights. You will collaborate across Business Development, Client Success, and Operations teams to drive new business initiatives, enhance client retention, and ensure clear, consistent communication of processes and procedures. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our mission to provide personalized prescription benefit management solutions that maximize value and minimize costs for clients nationwide. 


Client Engagement & Clinical Expertise 

  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with clients, brokers, and prospects, serving as a subject matter expert on pharmacy trends, programs, and industry developments. 
  • Deliver clinical guidance focused on growth, cost management, and trend mitigation. 
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of TrueScripts’ formulary and clinical programs to diverse audiences. 

Data Analysis & Strategic Recommendations 

  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and actionable insights. 
  • Recommend clinical programs and strategies to help clients achieve measurable savings and improved outcomes. 
  • Interpret drug benefit designs and communicate analytical and reporting requirements to internal teams.

Communication & Collaboration 

  • Partner with Marketing to develop and update clinical marketing materials. 
  • Support communication of formulary changes and program updates to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Advise Client Success on clinical aspects of key performance indicators, client spend, trends, and pharmacy benefit benchmarks.

Market Intelligence 

  • Maintain awareness of market trends and deliver timely clinical intelligence to clients and internal teams. 
  • Respond to plan-specific clinical inquiries and communicate drug information effectively 
Requirements

 
Education & Licensure 

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy (RPh or PharmD). 
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (any state).

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of licensed pharmacist experience. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits, or commercial health insurance (preferred). 
  • Minimum 3 years in a client-facing role with external clients.

Work Environment & Physical Demands 

  • Professional office environment with a flexible “8-5” schedule, averaging 40 to 45 hours per week.
  • Some travel required to meet with brokers, clients, and vendors. Estimated 30-50%.
  • Adherence to Confidentiality and Personal Health Information (PHI) Guidelines as stated in the Employee Handbook. 
  • Routine use of standard office equipment; moderate noise level. 
  • Frequent sitting, typing, and use of hands; occasional standing, walking, and lifting to 25 pounds.
