Safety
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements at all times.
- Operate forklifts, material-handling equipment, and cashier systems safely and in accordance with training and authorization.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in warehouse, production, or loading areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Report unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, or injuries immediately to supervision or management.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and material-handling practices to prevent injury.
- Comply with all applicable OSHA and workplace safety standards.
Duties
- Assist dealers and customers in identifying, selecting, and purchasing the correct trailer parts and components.
- Provide accurate information regarding part specifications, compatibility, availability, and pricing.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Conduct daily and weekly outreach calls with dealers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing parts of support.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production and customer demand.
- Place and manage parts orders to prevent shortages or production delays.
- Process parts orders accurately and coordinate shipping and logistics for timely delivery.
- Reconcile purchases made using a company-issued credit card in accordance with company policy.
- Serve as a subject-matter resource on trailer parts, compatibility, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare accurate quotes based on parts, quantities, and customer needs.
- Track sales orders and follow up on open or pending orders.
- Stay current on new products, tools, and industry trends related to trailer manufacturing and parts.
- Track and report sales data, including revenue, volume, and customer feedback.
- Support sales growth initiatives, including expanding the parts store and maintaining the online parts presence.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Work closely with production and service teams to ensure parts availability aligns with manufacturing schedules.
- Resolve parts-related issues quickly to minimize operational disruption
- Experience in trailer manufacturing or automotive parts sales.
- Knowledge of axles, brakes, suspension systems, lighting, and related components.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, or parts sales software.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree or certification in business, sales, or a related field preferred).
- Proven experience in parts sales, customer service, or a related role within manufacturing or automotive industries (trailer experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of trailer parts, components, and systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems, order entry software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to operate a cashier register.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet sales and service goals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and diagrams.
- Forklift or warehouse operations experience.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move parts and materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Work is performed in a combination of office, warehouse, and production environments, which may include exposure to noise, machinery, and moving equipment
