What You Will Do

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with experience in Business Intelligence to join our growing team as a technical contributor, and guide business intelligence projects. The right candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in data analysis and reporting. This position will make impactful contributions in the data analysis, metrics, and reporting while building relationships in a culture founded in teamwork. This position will occasionally require working outside of standard business hours to facilitate IT deployments, software maintenance, and support of critical systems. This flexible position will allow you to primarily work from home, with occasional expectation to commute to the office. 

• Liaison between the business and the Software Development team. Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the business to execute deliverables, keeping all stakeholders accountable, informed of needs, statuses, obstacles, and other factors that impact the business.
• Communicates with project sponsors in defining system goals, problems, and needs
• Develops test plans and performs rigorous testing, troubleshooting, code review, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm functionality meets the goals and needs of the end user. Performs on-going security testing and code review to improve software security.
• Leverages SQL queries and other software programs or tools to query and process data, create custom reports, and examine reports to identify and resolve errors. Analyzes complex data sets, identifies trends, and shares insights to influence change
• Manages vendor relationships by maintaining transparent communication and holding vendors accountable to agreed upon services and deliverables. May support the identification and selection of prospective vendors

Preferred Education/Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree with focus on Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.  
• 2+ years of experience leading or participating in projects
• 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence or MS reporting or data analytics. 
• Business Analyst Certifications, Microsoft Business Intelligence Certifications or other relevant designation desired, but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, specifically data display, formulas, macros, and pivot tables 
• Experience with leveraging project management software required.  Confluence/Jira preferred.  Familiarity with Agile is preferred.
• Experience with leveraging SQL queries 
• Experience within Microsoft Business Intelligence platforms such as SSDT, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI, and SQL databases
