We are seeking a Development Engineer who is fluent in Korean and English (reading, writing, and speaking required) to support product development activities and collaborate closely with Sales and Development teams in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role serves as a technical liaison between customers, sales, Korean-speaking leadership, and internal engineering teams to support new business, product launches, and continuous improvement.
· Support product and process development activities for automotive components
· Work closely with Sales and Development teams to support customer inquiries, RFQs, and new business opportunities
· Communicate and translate technical requirements between Korean- and English-speaking customers, leadership, and internal teams
· Support design reviews, feasibility studies, and technical documentation
· Assist with prototype development, trials, and validation activities
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering during new product launches
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, cost, and manufacturability
· Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and customer documentation

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field)
· Fluent in Korean and English (reading, writing, and speaking required)
· Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred
· Automotive industry experience (seat systems, metal fabrication, welding, or assembly)
· 3+ years of experience in automotive product or process development
· Experience supporting RFQs, customer development programs, or launch activities
· Experience working with Korean OEMs or global manufacturing organizations
· Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, or automotive development processes
