We are currently seeking a qualified CMA to join our team at Peak Resources (facility name). Part-time and Full-time positions may be available.

Role Responsibilities

A Medication Aide assists in the administering of medications to skilled nursing/nursing home residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this State.

Requirements

Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current, unencumbered, certification as a Nursing Assistant in NC
  • Current, unencumbered, certification as a Medication Aide in NC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace

Preferred Experience

  • One (1) year Medication Aide experience or more
