Cocktail Server
Provides beverage service to guests in a prompt, courteous manner, ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction and encouraging future patronage.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to Club Fortune North guests in an efficient, courteous manner, striving to remember frequent players and establish personal connections
- Understand and promote the player tracking program and other casino promotions
- Accurately take and deliver drink orders from customers on the casino floor
- Verify that customers are actively playing at slot machines with the minimum bet or greater before serving drinks
- Communicate drink orders to the bartender promptly
- Remove empty glasses and bottles from the casino area, empty ashtrays and clean ashes and spills on slot machines
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and company policies pertaining to alcohol service and safety
- Report or correct unsafe work conditions immediately to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Assist with jackpot payouts as needed
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age to comply with state and governmental liquor laws
- Minimum 1 year of prior cocktail serving experience preferred
Language Skills:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to represent the property with a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude
- Ability to meet company grooming, hygiene, and appearance standards
- Ability to interact with management, employees, and guests in an efficient, courteous manner
Certificates & Licenses:
- Nevada Gaming Registration
- Nevada Food Handling Health Card
- TAM Card
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and carry serving trays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move freely throughout congested areas of the casino
- Ability to work in an environment with tobacco smoke, bright lights, and loud casino noise
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
