Job Purpose:
A Guest Services Lead assists with team oversight, provides quality customer service and product knowledge, along with daily tasks of the operation. Will be expected to help guests with their needs. Spends time working in both Guest
Services/Retail and ticket office. This is a working supervisor position. Duties include closing retail/ticket locations, assisting with inventory, training and other related duties as assigned.
Shift: Full Time but must be available for Weekdays, Weeknights, Weekends, Days, Afternoons, Nights
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Required to have proficient knowledge of Marquette Mountain property and the surrounding area
- Must be able to work independently and multi-task
- Assist supervisor with overseeing employees in both the retail and ticket work areas.
- Assist with Point of Sale, inventories, displays
- Give accurate and current information about the merchandise for all brands we carry.
- Cleaning and organizing daily to keep a professional appearance.
- Process Season’s Passes, Lift Tickets and Retail Sales.
- Oversee and perform all guest services associated with providing retail/ services for guests, must also be able to
- answer questions about activities and sights in the area.
- Assist with providing a safe and positive experience for both guests and staff.
- Communicate information to all staff and guests to ensure knowledge of Marquette Mountain Resort activities, events, and changes.
- Work with the Guest Services Supervisor to communicate with guests externally and internally
- Work with Customer Services, Guest Services, Rental and Snowsports Supervisor in ensuring that scheduling and staffing levels are appropriate for group and daily volume.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be professional, courteous and exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with the Members and guests
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast past environment with tight deadlines and shifting needs
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- A reliable individual who can work independently but also as part of a team, committed to customer service
- Requires face-to-face leadership and involves morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Accurate with money usage and register use.
