Position Summary
The Host serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests in our dining areas. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting smooth dining room operations. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and attentive to detail, with a strong commitment to exceptional member service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Manage dining reservations and waitlists using the club’s reservation system
- Coordinate seating to ensure optimal flow and member satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
- Maintain an organized host stand and entrance area
- Uphold club standards of etiquette, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Assist with special events, private functions, and member requests
- Address member concerns politely and escalate issues to management when needed

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or fine dining preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of reservation systems a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
