Our team is looking for a full-time Janitor to join our growing team! This individual will be responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our team, members and guests. The Janitor position requires attention to detail, time management and efficiency.

Within the common areas, the Janitor is responsible for:
- Laundering all towels, linens and uniforms as needed, including ironing and folding the linens for storage and display.
- Maintain cleanliness in the men and womens' restrooms at community pools.
- Ensure proper cleanliness of common area floors, walls, mirrors, doors and fixtures, restocking materials as needed.
- Empty trash and dispose of the trash appropriately.
- Complete all assigned work orders.
- Communicate with the Field Supervisor on any needed maintenance or further work.
Within the food and beverage areas, the Janitor is responsible for:
- Sweep and mop floors with commercial degreasor.
- Refill all soap and hand sanitizer and paper towel dispensers.
- Ensure cleanliness of the Beach Club including the first floor preparation station, sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping counters and rails, cleaning bar top and sides, polishing the television center, and cleaning the stainless appliances and fixtures.
- Clean the Logia bar areas.
- Ensure a welcoming and clean environment within the Reception area of the Beach Club.
- Empy trash and dispose of the trash appropriately.
- Vaccuum the staircase, cleaning the carpet as needed.
- Wipe down the elevator to ensure a clean, smudge and stain free surface.
- Complete all assigned work orders.
- Communicate with the Field Supervisor on any needed maintenance or further work.
Within the Community Center, the Janitor is responsible for:
- Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of use by sweeping and mopping entry tiles, cleaning entry doors and room dividing doors, polishing furniture and cleaning mirrors, lights, walls, sconces, ceiling fans and rugs.
- Ensuring cleanliness in the men and women's restrooms- sweeping and mopping the floors, refilling all soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers.
- Empty trash and dispose of the trash appropriately.
- Wipe down the elevator to ensure a clean, smudge and stain free surface.
- Complete all assigned work orders.
- Communicate with the Field Supervisor on any needed maintenance or further work.
Requirements
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
- Must be able to move 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
- Must be able to speak, hear and see.
Working Conditions & Environment
- Must be able to work in a smoke free, drug free environment.
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and understand work orders.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Operate and clean related equipment and designated work area.
- Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
