Recruiter (Entry-Level) – Full Cycle Recruiting

Pay: $40,000–$45,000 annually

Job Type: Full-time

Training Location: Lewisville, TX (Corporate Office – 1–3 months)

Primary Work Location After Training: Plano, TX


Job Summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services is seeking an entry-level Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of recruiting experience or transferable experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, administration, or other people-focused roles.


The Recruiter will receive hands-on, in-person training at our Lewisville corporate office for 1–3 months. After successful completion of training, the employee will work primarily from our Plano location.

Requirements
  • Post and manage job openings on Indeed, Paylocity, and other job boards
  • Source candidates for entry-level, skilled, and hard-to-fill positions
  • Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and job fit
  • Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
  • Prepare and send offer letters
  • Manage pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and I-9 compliance
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation activities
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach events
  • Assist with creative recruiting strategies, including social media recruiting
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Paylocity and applicant tracking systems
  • Track recruiting activity and assist with basic recruiting metrics and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, Texas state, and company hiring policies
  • Communicate regularly with candidates and hiring managers to provide updates and feedback
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion recruiting efforts
  • Represent ABC professionally at events, online platforms, and partnerships with schools and community organizations
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, customer service, sales, hospitality, administrative support, or similar transferable roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Interest in building a long-term career in recruiting or Human Resources


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; Paylocity preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish


Training & Work Location Details

  • Training will be conducted in person at ABC’s corporate office in Lewisville, TX for approximately 1–3 months
  • After training, the primary work location will be Plano, TX
  • Occasional travel to job sites or hiring events may be required

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Office environment with occasional off-site recruiting events
