POSITION SUMMARY:

The Park Services Prep Team Member supports the daily operations of Morgan’s Wonderland by preparing and maintaining park areas, attractions, and activity zones to ensure a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment. This role focuses on behind-the-scenes support, helping the Park Services team execute their responsibilities efficiently and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive park experience.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain park grounds, including cleaning, litter removal, restroom upkeep, and landscaping support.
  • Operate and maintain park equipment, including carts, small utility vehicles, and, where applicable, heavy machinery under supervision.
  • Perform routine cleaning, organization, and restocking of supplies throughout assigned areas.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for cleaning, setup, and organization to maintain park standards.
  • General maintenance and pick up of grounds.
  • Notify supervisors of equipment needs, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages.
  • Help prepare spaces, equipment, and materials for seasonal or special park activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow prep team members and other park staff to support overall operations.
  •  Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring in all locations.
  •  Maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels in bathrooms and all areas of the property
  •  Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
  •  Wash down and power wash park streets and sidewalks 
  •  Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
  •  Monitor cleanliness of flower bed and all guest facing areas
  •  Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
  •  Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
  •  Maintain the cleanliness of Morgans Wonderland Sports during events 
  •  Assist in the set up and tear down of event spaces 
  •  General maintenance and pick up of grounds.
  •  Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Qualifications

  •  Ability to maintain a regular schedule of approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Times may adjust as needed for events.
  •  Must be at least 18 years of age
  •  Valid Driver's license preferred
  • Ability to safely operate park equipment and machinery; prior experience preferred.
  • Strong physical stamina for performing manual labor in outdoor environments.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards for staff and visitors.
  •  Must have the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  •  Excellent time management and organizational skills
  •  Must be able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks.
  •  Guest service oriented 
  •  Commitment to the mission and core values of Morgan’s Wonderland as well as the implementation of these values in all daily work activities.
  •  Willingness and enthusiasm to work as part of a team and alone
  •  Must have weekend availability

  •  Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and twisting upper body.
  •  The work environment is an outdoor park environment with continuous outdoor activity and exposure to extreme weather conditions.

  •  Must be able to withstand walking/standing for long periods of time
  •  Continuous requirement for professional demeanor and appropriate park staff attire
