Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:

  • As an assistant director of nursing (ADON), you will supervise and delegate nursing activities on behalf of the director of nursing.
  • You will manage clinical operations and develop care plans.
  • You will support the director of nursing.
  • You will conduct consumer rounds and address complaints.
  • You will monitor and train the nursing staff.
Requirements

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
  • 2 years of experience in long-term care or a mental health rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Previous experience as ADON, highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
