What You'll Do
The Customer Service Representative is an integral part of our company's success. We are seeking candidates that have a professional and courteous approach with an enthusiasm to problem solve.
Duties will include:
- Follow all applicable rules and regulations surrounding proper phone etiquette and financial servicing
- Answer customer and internal client questions about their financial products such as: payments, escrow, insurance, taxes, year-end interest statements, and solving customer issues via phone and email
- Contact customers, insurance agents, tax agencies, title companies, business partners and other internal departments/branches
- Perform several different servicing processes such as: Payment processing, Escrow disbursement and analysis, Loan purchase and servicing transfers, Payoff processing, Reconveyances, Reconciliation reports, Early stage collections
- Track due dates and pay insurance and/or property tax on behalf of borrowers from escrow accounts by expiration or due dates
- Assist other team members when necessary to ensure daily work is completed timely for the department
Requirements
What We'll Love About You
- Three years mortgage experience is required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Attention to detail, efficiency in work, and being open to feedback
- Good data entry skills and phone etiquette are required.
- Letter writing skills are needed for professional email responses
- Must be able to prioritize daily tasks for efficient completion
- Ability to validate information from the closed loan documents to the Servicing system to set up mortgage loans for servicing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Word, Excel and the ability to learn new systems. We use Encompass, Servicing Director and OnBase for our Loans and Documents. We access MERS and investor portals via the web
