Ballard County Loan Assistant

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Assist branch lending staff in loan clerical duties including but not limited to past due letters, follow-up for exception lists, loan document scanning, customer communication, and other duties as assigned. 


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure all officers’ past-due loans receive past-due letters when necessary.

  • Assist with gathering documentation for loan preparation.
  • Accurately and efficiently produce loans for the Ballard County commercial lenders utilizing loan origination software 
  • Meet with loan customers when necessary.
  • Assist commercial lenders with phone correspondence.
  • Scanning and indexing any needed documents.
  • Updating Incomplete List, ordering final titles, title policies.
  • Communicate with loan operations when needed.
  • Represent the bank and participate in community activities and local affairs to enhance business development.
  • Participate in seminars, conference, and training meetings on various topics to better assist bank management.
  • Assist in ensuring security of all bank systems and network.
  • Deliver and record documents in government offices.
  • Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or directed.
Requirements

  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· College Degree and/or comparable experience preferred

· Banking experience preferred


SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom.

· Ability to operate Windows PC-based computer software.

· Professional image and positive attitude.

· Pro-active, solutions-oriented personality.

· Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment.

· Eye Coordination required to operate computer.

· Drive to and attend meetings as required.

· Move around bank between levels or floors while performing duties.

· Bending and stretching in work area.

· Sitting at desk or computer workstation for extended periods of time.
