Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in resolving minor difficulties, answering their questions, and providing directions as authorized by the dentist or dental hygienist.
- Serve as a chair-side assistant to the dentist and dental hygienist during various procedures.
- Prepare the operatory for patient treatment in accordance with CHC protocols and the directions of dental professionals.
- Expose and develop dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations, laws, and departmental protocols.
- Perform delegated independent procedures to support the delivery of quality dental care.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a dental setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, radiography, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
