We are seeking a Cellar Technician to join our growing, family-owned team. At Toppling Goliath, we work together to pursue excellence in craft brewing while creating memorable experiences through our beer, food, and the way we connect with our customers.
Cellar Technicians are flexible, hands-on team members who play a vital role in the brewing process. This role offers the opportunity to learn across multiple departments while ensuring quality and consistency from tank to tank.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor fermentation and beer quality
• Carbonate beer to precise specifications
• Clean and maintain cellar tanks and equipment (CIP)
• Transfer beer safely between tanks
• Operate equipment including centrifuges, decanters, and pasteurizers

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard cleaning and sanitation procedures and is required to have the knowledge in the prevention of exposures to chemical, physical, and biological hazards that could compromise the integrity of our finished goods.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Approximately 40 hours per week, up to 12 hours per day if necessary, depending on the production schedule.
Physical Demands
Physical demands include but are not limited to standing for prolonged periods of time, squatting, crouching, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and other repetitive movements frequently throughout the shift. Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted and up to 175 pounds assisted, manually manipulating parts, pumps, and hoses. Pushing and pulling heavy loads. Work with hot, cold liquid, hazardous equipment, materials, and chemicals.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D Certification
- Must be 21 years old to sample product
