Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to provide effective support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 


Compensation 

  • Starting pay for this position is $26.31/hour, with opportunities for growth and development within the role.


Work Environment

  • · Fast-paced setting requiring adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • · Occasional work outside standard office hours for system maintenance or urgent support needs.
  • · Requires the ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • · Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to independently travel to multiple plants.


Responsibilities

  • · Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems.
  • · Manage mobile devices for Apple and/or Android platforms.
  • · Create and respond to IT trouble tickets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • · Resolve networking issues, including LAN, WAN, IP addressing, and router/switch/access point configurations.
  • · Support printers, peripherals, and mobile devices to ensure smooth operation.
  • · Apply cybersecurity principles and practices to IT systems.
  • · Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • · Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • · Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates and backups.
  • · Set up workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for onboarding local and remote employees.
  • · Document processes, resolutions, and configurations in an organized manner.
  • · Provide timely and effective customer service and support.
  • · Maintain, configure, and monitor Microsoft 365 systems and Azure Cloud infrastructure.
  • · Occasionally work outside standard office hours for system maintenance or urgent support needs.
  • · Lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs.) as required.
  • · Must be able to independently travel to multiple plants
Requirements

 Qualifications 

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • · Familiarity with Apple and/or Android mobile device management.
  • · Strong understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, IP addressing, and router/switch/access point configurations.
  • · Knowledge of printer, peripheral, and mobile device troubleshooting.
  • · Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • · Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • · Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting remote and on-site users.
  • · Customer service orientation to provide effective technical support.
  • · Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • · Organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and processes.
  • · Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
