Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an Actuary II to join our Finance and Actuarial Team.

Requirements

Qualifications and Responsibilities of the Actuary II include:

  • College degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field
  • Minimum of 5 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in an actuarial role
  • Calculating quarterly rate indications for liability heavy lines and completing pricing studies
  • Analyzing competitor rating algorithms and making change recommendations
  • Assisting with the evaluation of loss reserves
  • Overseeing the building of rate books and rate specification documents for rate changes for all lines of business
  • High level of organizational and analytical skills with good attention to detail
