Description

Indiana Farmers is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst. This position has the opportunity to work a hybrid or remote schedule.


The right candidate will work with various business product and technology delivery teams to elicit, document, communicate user behavior, user context and system features. The individual will work with Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, Application Developers and System Architects both internal to Indiana Farmers as well as third party vendors, to document system usability and changes to system designs and integrations to meet the business value. The Business Systems Analyst will then validate functionality, ensure system quality and ensure user value is met.

Requirements

Qualifications and Responsibilities for the Business Systems Analyst :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or related discipline
  • Experience working with and developing test plans and test scripts
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, manage sub-projects and meet deadlines
  • Excel, MSWord, Windows 365 experience
  • Knowledge of project methodologies and software development lifecycles
  • Identifies, considers, develops, and clearly documents business value and user value
  • Assists and directs business units in developing user stories, acceptance criteria and specifications to solve business challenges
  • Performs detailed analysis and reproducible steps on defects found during testing, or by system users by running queries, extracting XML, and identifying impacts to the system users
  • Excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill
  • Knowledge of automated testing, SharePoint and Jira, preferred
