POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

The Senior Program Analyst - Sr. Survivability SME will support multiple government teams by applying active duty expertise and OPNAV Investment experience to inform Department of War acquisition program managers regarding the effectiveness of proposed combat survivability investments, and the development of tactics, techniques and procedures to maximize combat effectiveness for carrier Airwing of the future, and subsequently leading initiatives to develop timely capture strategies and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include:

  •  Participation in the Naval Aviation Enterprise  Air Wing of the Future cross-platform collaboration.
  •  Using predictive analytics to proactively identify the impact of trade-offs within the mission tradespace.
  •  Participating in, and contributing to, Low Observables Groups in Collaboration
  •  Assisting in the development of groundbreaking directives and policies aimed at fortifying Naval aircraft Low Observable characteristics and accelerating the advancement of cutting-edge Naval aircraft capabilities.
  •  Applying operational experience to advise Government and Industry partners on matters related to current, planned and predicted readiness and effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 20 years experience with Naval Aviation, particularly experience with carrier-based strike aircraft and requirements development
  • 6 years experience with DoW Acquisition Programs Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution, including at least 2 year in direct support of NAVAIR
  • Navy Fighter Weapons School graduate
  • 3,000 hours in carrier-based tactical jet aircraft
  • Experience in coordinating data calls/briefs across multiple stakeholders while maintaining configuration version control and managing complex program schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products 
  • Bachelors Degree or higher; Experience may be substituted for Bachelors Degree
  • US Citizen
  • Eligible for Top Secret security clearance 


Salary Description
$175,000 - $225,000
